Rosina Romano - Candidate for NJ Assembly
Raised in Jersey City, NJ and living much of her adult life in Bergen County along with her 2 boys, Rosina is the daughter of Italian immigrants & a first generation American/Italian. Her strong work ethic, dedication, leadership skills and family values have enabled her to build a successful business as a licensed Title Insurance Producer and owner of R&G Title Agency located in South Hackensack, NJ.
Her public service and professional experience includes:
Commissioner of the Bergen county Board of Elections 2011 - 2013
Being elected to the South Hackensack Township Committee in 2007 and serving as
Mayor in both 2008 & 2009.
Appointed Deputy Police Commissioner in 2009
Commissioner of Finance & Utilities 2007-2009
Served on the Senior Housing Project Committee 2007-2009
Served as Hackensack Meadowlands Municipal Committee Member 2007-2009
Worked as a VP of Operations in the Financial Industry running day to day corporate office
As a dedicated mother and business women, Rosina ensures that community involvement plays an integral role in her life. She is currently the VP of the Bergen County Women’s Republican Club and a member of the South Hackensack Republican Club Executive Board.
Rosina is a dedicated and proud member of the American Land Title Association, the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce, the 200 Club of Bergen County, the New Jersey Land Title Association, Unico and the MS Foundation which she holds near and dear.
Rosina had dedicated herself to running local government more efficiently. Her experience has enabled her to analyze, oversee, and improve the workings of South Hackensack. She now looks forward to helping improve overall quality of life within district 36 and understands that our citizens cannot continue to bear the burden for the bad decisions of others in the past. As a business owner and entrepreneur she understands first-hand what it takes to create new jobs and attract new businesses. Rosina also realizes the plight of local businesses and the self-employed as they are the foundation of our economy.
